We’re looking to expand our team with a driven and strategic Content Specialist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment. This role will work closely with our team to create high-quality content, strengthen client brands, and deliver exceptional results across a variety of platforms and campaigns.
The Position:You'll bring a positive and professional attitude to our team. You will balance independent work with an ability to accomplish tasks in a highly collaborative, team-based environment. You will effectively prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and work objectives.
Your primary mission will be to bridge the gap between high-quality storytelling and technical SEO. You won't just write for the sake of writing; you’ll create purposeful content designed to climb search engine rankings, engage users, and drive conversions.
The ideal candidate understands that a great piece of content is only effective if the right people can find it. You should be equally comfortable performing keyword research as you are crafting a compelling narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a data-driven content calendar that aligns with business goals and brand voice.
- SEO Optimization: Perform keyword research to identify high-opportunity topics. Optimize on-page elements, including meta titles, descriptions, H1–H6 tags, and internal linking structures.
- Web Copywriting: Write, edit, and publish high-performing website copy, including blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and product descriptions.
- CMS Management: Upload and format content within the CMS (e.g., WordPress, Contentful, or Webflow), ensuring mobile responsiveness and visual appeal.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Use data to "refresh" old content and improve underperforming pages.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Designer and Developer to ensure the user journey is seamless and the brand messaging is consistent.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in digital content creation, specifically with an SEO focus.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz) and Google Analytics.
- Writing Excellence: A portfolio demonstrating the ability to take complex topics and turn them into clear, actionable web content.
- Analytical Mindset: You don't just see "traffic," you see patterns. You can explain why a page is ranking (or why it isn't).
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for grammar, tone, and formatting.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
