Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of retail spaces, including floors, aisles, restrooms, and customer service areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct detailed floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Execute janitorial and custodial duties with precision, including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues related to facilities maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support industrial cleaning projects or commercial cleaning tasks as needed to uphold safety standards across the store.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are consistently maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields such as facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
