We are seeking a qualified Flexo Press Operator to set up, adjust, maintain, and operate our printing press.
Compensation negotiable depending on experience and shift
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Review job orders to make necessary adjustments to the printing machine.
- Install components and supplies, such as ink rollers and printing plates, according to job specifications.
- Test inks and paints on the printing surface to ensure their suitability.
- Oversee the production of printed materials, including the printing and racking processes, to ensure they meet specifications and are completed on schedule.
- Perform maintenance tasks on the printing machine.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, including addressing abnormal noises. - Clean the printing press and its peripherals.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
