We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Cleaner to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming floors, and brushing walls to keep pools spotless.
- Monitor water quality levels, adjusting chemicals as necessary to maintain safe pH and chlorine levels in compliance with health standards.
- Inspect pool equipment such as filters, pumps, and heaters, ensuring they are functioning correctly and scheduling repairs or replacements when needed.
- Maintain surrounding pool areas by cleaning decks, lounge chairs, and walkways to ensure a tidy and inviting environment.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including checking safety equipment and ensuring compliance with health regulations for hospitality settings.
- Document all cleaning activities, chemical treatments, and maintenance tasks accurately in logs for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with hotel or facility staff to coordinate pool schedules and address guest or resident requests promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool cleaning or industrial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of water chemistry.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or hotel settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to floor care, pool maintenance, and general custodial responsibilities.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards related to cleanliness and guest service.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, skimmers, brushes, and chemical dispensers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage daily maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
