As a Family Therapist
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and family dynamics to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, workshops, and educational programs focused on family dynamics, communication skills, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in family therapy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families as needed.
- Educate clients and families about mental health, addiction, and recovery processes, offering tools and strategies for ongoing support and relapse prevention.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards, ensuring a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for all clients.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing family therapy in a clinical setting, preferably with experience in addiction and mental health treatment.
- Strong knowledge of family systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and families.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and practices in family therapy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Other Licensing/Certification:
- EMDR certification a plus
- Somatic Experiencing Trained is a plus
- Current Fingerprint Clearance
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear TB screening

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
