Position Summary
The Paralegal will assist clients, prepare legal documents, maintain case files, monitor deadlines, and provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process legal documents and court forms.
- Maintain accurate client files and case records.
- Monitor court deadlines, hearings, and case developments.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties.
- Conduct client intake interviews and gather required documentation.
- Respond to client inquiries via telephone, email, and text messages.
- Follow up with clients regarding required documents, court dates, and case status updates.
- Assist with office administration and client support activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable California laws and office procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate, Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent legal experience.
- Knowledge of California legal procedures and court forms preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
