Spruzzo Restaurant in Pacific Palisades is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team.
We are an upscale-casual, neighborhood Italian restaurant with a strong base of regulars and local guests. We need someone who can make great drinks, move quickly, keep the bar clean and organized, and make guests feel genuinely taken care of.
The right person is polished, dependable, friendly, calm under pressure, and team-first. You should take pride in your station, communicate well with servers and managers, and understand that a great bartender is part drink-maker, part host, part salesperson, and part problem-solver.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and standard bar drinks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout the shift
- Prep fruit, juices, garnishes, syrups, and other bar items as needed
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, and supplies
- Provide warm, professional service to regulars and new guests
- Work closely with servers, bussers, runners, kitchen, and management
- Handle service bar tickets while also taking care of guests seated at the bar
- Follow responsible alcohol service standards
- Complete opening, closing, and side work properly
What We’re Looking For
- Bartending experience in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and standard bar builds
- Comfortable with wine, beer, spirits, and basic food service
- Clean, organized, and consistent work habits
- Strong people skills and a naturally friendly presence
- Ability to multitask without getting flustered
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude with no ego — we all help each other here
- Experience with regular-heavy neighborhood restaurants is a plus
Requirements
- Prior bartending experience required
- Restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Must be available nights and weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/restock cases as needed
- California RBS certification required or must be completed within the required timeframe
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
