SUMMARY:
Perform responsible administrative, technical, and office duties for the custodial department. Oversee operations of the office and assist the supervisor with administering department functions.

1. Perform responsible office and administrative duties for the supervisor, including but not limited to, prepare correspondence and forms, schedule calendar, make appointments, schedule meetings, answer the telephone, provide general information and assistance upon request, and monitor the budget.
2. Assume all other reasonable professional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
3. Create and maintain the inventory records and locations of custodial supplies and equipment. Inspect, monitor, and maintain custodial equipment.
4. Maintain various necessary operational records relating to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) book, keys, attendance, and related custodial functions.
5. Working knowledge of policies and procedures of buildings.
6. Oversee and coordinate ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
7. Process high-volume bulk orders for cleaning supplies, track campus inventory levels, and ensure compliance with district purchasing guidelines.
8. Verify Custodial Time sheets.
9. Receive, log, and route daily custodial work orders to the appropriate teams or supervisors.
10. Maintain supply inventory, verify deliveries, order equipment, and prepare purchase orders or invoices.
11. Maintain personnel files, time and attendance records, and equipment maintenance logs.
12. Assist management with tracking the department budget, processing expense reports, and reconciling purchasing cards.
13. Assist with requisitions for hiring as well as onboarding assistance for custodial staff.
14. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: Two to four years related experience
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
