COACHMAN INN NIGHT DESK AND BREAKFAST PREP ROLE
The Coachman Inn is seeking a reliable and professional Night Desk Clerk to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, organization, food prep , be extremely reliable, have respect for others, a willingness to learn, and a care for the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Night Audit Processing: Execute system end-of-day reports, send reports to send to the management office and owners.
- Guest Services: Manage late check-ins and early check-outs, issue room keys, and process payments CloudBeds Hotel management System
- Concierge & Communication: Answer overnight inquiries, handle wake-up calls, and resolve guest complaints or emergencies promptly.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of room availability, post charges to guest ledgers, and manage incoming mail or messages in a professional manner.
- Property Oversight: Cleaning restrooms and common areas, keeping desk organized, clean and tidy, stocking supplies, setting up breakfast service, and monitoring security cameras. Walk property as needed. Handle security issues to protocol. Some hotel related typing and research.
- Work professionally with Manager, staff and guests alike.
- Learn breakfast prep: Cook basic hot breakfast items for guest buffet breakfast, clean as you go, stock supplies/cold foods, make coffee, prepare buffet, monitor and refill items as needed.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided. A two week trial period will be in place.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively.
- Experience with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Must be extremely reliable, trustworthy, dependable and honest.
- Professional appearance. Simple, clean, tidy apparel and hair. Proper hygiene. No perfumes or colognes. Friendly demeanor.
- Food Handlers License
Job Type: FULL OR PART TIME, WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS REQUIRED
Pay: Starting at $18.50
Expected hours: 11 PM - 7AM
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Days of week: WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS
- Night shift Hours: 11pm - 7am
- Overnight shift
