- Average of 25 service calls per week
- Pay: $40.00 per device
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated technician for ongoing Dell break/fix support across multiple customer sites.
Technician responsibilities include:
- Contact customers directly to schedule service appointments
- Pick up parts daily from the designated FedEx location listed in the work order
- Travel to customer locations to complete hardware repairs
- Perform diagnostics, repair, replacement, and functional testing
- Update service activity and close tickets in:
- DFSM
- ServiceNow
- Package defective parts using replacement part packaging
- Drop off return parts at FedEx/USPS after the final call of the day or the following morning
- Provide clear photos of all FedEx/USPS tracking receipts for parts returns
Multi-Site Coverage
Covering multiple customer locations.
Schedule: Start ASAP
Availability Required: Daily support, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Candidate must have consistent weekday availability to support scheduled service calls on agreed upon schedule.
Typical Repair Types:
Candidate should be comfortable performing repairs including but not limited to:
- Motherboard replacements
- LCD/screen replacements
- Heatsink replacements
- Battery replacements
- HDD/SSD replacements
- Desktop and server hardware repairs
Required Skills / Experience:
- Break/fix experience on Dell laptops, desktops, and servers strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily route
- Strong customer communication skills
- Ability to document work accurately and in real time
Candidate must provide:
- Standard computer repair toolkit
- Precision/small star screwdrivers (required for certain laptop models)
- Mobile phone with camera for documentation
- Reliable transportation (Gas reimbursement inlcuded)
Dress Code:
- Khakis and polo shirt preferred
- No jeans
Sponsorships:
Candidate must complete required Dell Technologies certifications prior to dispatch. (THIS IS PAID FOR)

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
