The Field Engineer will be responsible for the following:
-
Organize, oversee, and document the installation of horizontal wells.

Field QA/QC
-
On-the-job training- by working as part of a crew that uses horizontal directional drilling (HDD) primarily to install environmental remediation wells.

Growing knowledge of the HDD process to be able to organize, direct, and ensure the quality of the product that Ellingson is installing.
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science is required.

Extensive travel is required as our projects are located throughout the United States.

An ambitious person with a willingness to step in and get dirty.

Strong mechanical skills are beneficial.

Good written and verbal communication skills are a must, both to be able to communicate effectively with the Ellingson team and the supervising consultant.
