We are seeking a Senior Manager – Engineering to lead engineering and facility operations for a pharmaceutical Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing site. The role is responsible for OSD equipment reliability, HVAC and clean utilities, maintenance, calibration, compliance, and capital projects while ensuring cGMP and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience and deep expertise in OSD manufacturing, facility engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering, maintenance, calibration, and facility teams for OSD operations
- Manage OSD equipment including tablet presses, granulators, coaters, capsule fillers, and packaging lines
- Oversee HVAC, clean utilities, boilers, chilled water, compressed air, and environmental controls
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and validation standards
- Drive preventive maintenance, reliability, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support audits, facility upgrades, automation, and engineering projects
- Mentor engineering staff and build a high-performance team
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical OSD engineering experience
- Strong expertise in HVAC, clean utilities, facility engineering, and equipment maintenance
- Hands-on experience with PM, calibration, validation, and cGMP compliance
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering and facility teams
Pay: $101,690.54 - $130,466.02 per year
