Duties
- Prepare dining areas by setting tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Clear tables promptly after meals, bussing dishes and utensils to keep the dining area clean and organized.
- Assist with food safety practices by following sanitation protocols during meal handling and kitchen support tasks.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy trays, boxes, or equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
Skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and table setting.
- Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
- Experience in bussing tables, serving food, or supporting catering events is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout shifts.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.
