Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Project Manager - HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and familiarity with construction contracts, ensuring that all estimates align with company goals and client expectations.

Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and site conditions.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam, Fastpipe, and Trimble to create and manage estimates effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Conduct thorough analysis of labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs to ensure comprehensive estimates.
- Engage in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor project budgets and perform cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials pricing, and construction methods.
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Using logic and experience to solve problems.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients.
- A tendency to work in the technical field.
- Valid driver’s license, pre-hire drug screen required and ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Fastpipe or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in cost analysis.
