American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3-5 years of hospital or imaging center experience for a 13-week night shift contract in a radiology CT department.

Patient care is required for this position

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required; experience cannot be substituted for the degree

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center
-
2-3 years of experience with advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging preferred
-
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications preferred

BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross and other providers not accepted at this facility)

Active MA state license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment

Knowledge of radiation safety practices and infection control procedures

2 professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

Perform CT imaging procedures per physician orders and established protocols, including patient positioning and immobilization to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure

Review and verify patient information, including medical history and prior imaging studies, prior to scanning
-
Operate and calibrate CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards

Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate image interpretation and follow up on additional imaging requests

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results
-
Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate
-
No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public transportation is recommended, and public parking is available at daily rates

Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
