We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping and laundry departments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, overseeing daily operations, and managing a diverse team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Operational Leadership: Manage daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry staff, including room assignments, deep-cleaning schedules, and public area maintenance.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and facilities to ensure strict adherence to brand standards and sanitation protocols.
Inventory & Budgeting: Oversee inventory levels for linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. Manage departmental expenses and labor costs to align with budgetary goals.
Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff. Create a supportive work environment through clear communication, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
Compliance: Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed, including the proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in housekeeping management, preferably within a high-volume hotel environment.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly preferred to effectively manage and support our diverse team.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using hotel management software (PMS) and digital tracking systems for attendance and maintenance logs.
Leadership: Proven ability to motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and manage staffing schedules effectively.
Attention to Detail: An uncompromising eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain standards under pressure.
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Capability to lift or push up to 30 lbs (e.g., linen carts or cleaning equipment).
