Pay: $27.69–$35.50/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM | On-call rotation required
Additional Compensation: Mileage reimbursement and cellphone allowance provided
TDL Staffing is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support residential properties and shared community spaces at Eielson Air Force Base. This role offers competitive pay, a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, and varied maintenance work for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality repairs.
In this position, you’ll respond to routine, urgent, and emergency maintenance needs across occupied and vacant residences, community facilities, and outdoor amenities. The ideal candidate has broad residential maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a dependable, customer-focused approach when working with residents and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and complete general residential maintenance repairs
- Respond to routine, urgent, and emergency work orders in a timely manner
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting involving carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, appliances, HVAC, and residential heating systems
- Support preventative maintenance inspections and address repair needs as identified
- Complete interior and exterior repairs, painting, finishes, and general property upkeep
- Maintain and repair household appliances and residential fixtures as needed
- Help maintain community facilities, playgrounds, outdoor spaces, and other shared amenities
- Respond to seasonal and weather-related maintenance needs, including snow removal and emergency conditions
- Use basic computer and mobile systems to receive, update, and document work orders
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents and team members
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of general residential or multi-family maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of general residential maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC, and heating systems
- Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and equipment
- Basic computer and mobile device skills for work orders, training, and communication
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle for work-related transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform the physical duties of the position
- Must be able to gain post access; Real ID required
- Background screening is a part of the hiring process
