Warehouse Associate

Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, maintaining organized inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service to contractors and vendors while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced wholesale HVAC and roofing distribution environment.
Essential Responsibilities

Accurately pull, stage, and verify customer orders for pickup or delivery

Provide courteous, professional service to customers, vendors, and team members

Assist with loading and unloading materials, including HVAC equipment, roofing supplies, and related products

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and special-order shipments

Prepare and stage materials for outbound deliveries

Complete required shipping and receiving documentation, including obtaining customer/vendor signatures

Process return materials in accordance with company warranty procedures

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (tow motors), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ladders

Participate in company-sponsored product and safety training sessions

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior warehouse, distribution, or building materials experience preferred

Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)

Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and work in varying warehouse conditions

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Dependable with a strong work ethic
