Respiratory Specialists is a large, 14 physician-led Pulmonary, Sleep, and Asthma practice based in Wyomissing, PA. We provide comprehensive outpatient respiratory and sleep care through a collaborative team that includes board-certified pulmonologists, sleep physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and experienced clinical support staff.
Position Overview
Respiratory Specialists is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing in-office outpatient clinical team. This role focuses on evaluation, follow-up, and long-term management of patients with pulmonary, respiratory, and sleep-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide outpatient care for asthma, COPD, pulmonary disease, and sleep disorders
· Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits
· Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans
· Educate patients on medications, inhalers, oxygen therapy, and CPAP/BiPAP use
· Document care accurately and efficiently in the EMR
Qualifications
· Active Pennsylvania NP or PA license (required)
· National NP or PA certification in good standing
· Experience in pulmonary, sleep, respiratory, internal medicine, or primary care is preferred
· Strong communication and clinical skills
