Enrollment Services Assistant – Two (2) Positions Available
SALARY: $48,817.00 Annually

REPORTS TO: Director of Enrollment Services
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides exemplary frontline customer service while assisting students with enrollment services in multiple functional areas.

Enters, verifies, and researches student records information in a timely manner utilizing the College's Enterprise Resource Planning system.

Performs cashiering functions required in the Enrollment Services department.

Utilizes the College's document imaging system for electronic records management and retrieval; completes related scanning and linking tasks as needed.

Addresses student inquiries in person, by phone, or via e-mail.

Aids other frontline enrollment services personnel as needed.

Attends divisional/department and other meetings as directed.

Performs other duties as assigned that are appropriate to the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Three (3) years of customer service experience in an educational environment, social service agency, or in the private business sector
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree

Experience in one area of student services, such as admissions, registration, student records, financial aid or student financial services

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, with demonstrated multitasking and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented setting

Ability to use discretion and judgment

Bilingual
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Two (2) full-time positions available
SCHEDULE: 35 Hours Per Week
Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
with rotating evening hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
and occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
RETIREMENT: Pension Eligible
Any Middlesex College employee hired after September 1, 2011 will have to meet the New Jersey residency law requirement.
