Position Overview
The University of Graduate Studies (UGS) is seeking a qualified and experienced General Biology Instructor to teach undergraduate-level courses in General Biology. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, practical field experience, and a passion for student success in an online learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or equivalent) in Biology or a closely related field.
- Master's Degree (M.S. or equivalent) in Biology or a related scientific discipline (required).
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Professional experience in the biological sciences field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Residence in Florida, USA.
- Experience teaching in online or hybrid learning environments.
- Doctoral degree in Biology or a related discipline (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in General Biology.
- Develop and deliver engaging instructional content.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain academic records and comply with institutional policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings and academic activities as required.
