Duties
- Develop individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments.
- Provide emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Counsel family members on the patient's condition and available resources.
- Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals.
Experience
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is often preferred.
- Licensure: Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is common.
- Experience in a related field such as acute care, home health, oncology, or critical care is often preferred.
- Certification: Current CPR certification is required. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN) is often desired but not always mandatory.
- Transportation: A valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance are necessary for home visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
