Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold high standards of sanitation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing service tasks like bussing, refilling drinks, and checking on guest needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and process payments with cash handling expertise
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and kitchen cooperation
- Support host/host duties when needed by seating guests promptly and managing reservation systems like OpenTable
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably within fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale taverns
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a high-energy environment
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks are essential
