Job Description:
Germ Slayers Cleaning & Maintenance Solutions is hiring a Janitorial Technician for a State of Delaware facility in Dover, DE. This is a confirmed, ongoing position at one specific site under a State of Delaware contract running through 2028.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum floors (3x/week)
- Low dust, remove trash, and clean/disinfect restrooms and touch points (3x/week)
- Polish and clean glass (3x/week)
- Follow building security, key control, and alarm procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to Dover, DE
- Must pass a DELJIS background check (Delaware Justice Information System) prior to first shift, this site is a Department of Justice-affiliated facility with fingerprint-based screening through the State Bureau of Identification, which takes longer to process than a standard check
- Ability to work mornings consistently, Mon/Wed/Fri
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
