What You'll Do
As Sales Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of the sales department while coaching and developing your team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and consistently exceed dealership goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing sales training.
- Monitor daily sales activity, lead management, CRM utilization, and follow-up processes.
- Ensure every customer receives a professional, transparent, and exceptional buying experience.
- Assist sales professionals with deal structure, negotiations, trade evaluations, and closing opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, market trends, and customer demand to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with Finance & Insurance (F&I), Parts, Service, and Marketing departments to improve dealership performance and customer retention.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and legal regulations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives that drive revenue growth.
- Prepare reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and present results to dealership leadership.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success leading high-performing sales teams.
- Previous dealership management experience preferred (powersports, automotive, marine, RV, or similar industries).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Experience managing sales metrics, forecasting, inventory, and departmental performance.
- Proficient with CRM systems, dealership management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Day shift
- Evenings and extended hours as business needs require
- Weekend availability required
