American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech First Assist for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring at least 18 months of CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills.

Position is located in a hospital Operating Room unit specializing in cardiovascular surgery

AM shift, 12-hour shifts

13-week contract

Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand (for RN candidates)

Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years at a similar acuity level

Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular (wires) cases

Must be a qualified CVOR First Assist

Experience with cannulation, aortic cases, and adult vs. congenital cardiac cases required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if time off does not fall on or near a holiday; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive days of RTO during the holiday period will not be approved
