American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position requiring Level IV NICU experience and the ability to float throughout the children's units.

Level IV NICU in a Level I Trauma hospital setting
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
-
36 hours per week, 3 days per week

Must be able to float to all children's units

13-week contract
-
Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact) currently in hand

Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; Advanced NRP preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience required

Level IV NICU experience required

Level I Trauma hospital experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Assesses and monitors physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products for neonatal patients

Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and communicates care plans with patients and families

Collaborates with physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Workers who have previously completed an assignment at this facility may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before beginning a new contract thereafter

Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance
