Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning Hotel rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and other specialized techniques to ensure pristine surfaces
- Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio cleaning, gardening assistance, or outdoor furniture maintenance when required
- Ensure proper sanitation protocols are followed to uphold health standards across all areas
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks including inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling daily routines
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury
Requirements
- Proven experience in Choice hotel standards, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work responsibilities
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities is preferred
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or schedules is a plus
