Project Supervisor – Tera Painting
Pay: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
Tera Painting is looking for a Project Supervisor to help ensure our residential painting projects run smoothly from start to finish.
This is a field-based leadership position and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a Project Manager role. You don't need years of project management experience—we're looking for someone who is organized, communicates well, embraces technology, and takes ownership of their work.
Our Project Supervisors are the boots on the ground. You'll visit active job sites throughout the day, communicate with customers and crews, identify potential issues before they become problems, and keep projects moving efficiently. You'll work closely with our Project Coordinator and office team to ensure schedules stay on track and every customer has an outstanding experience.
What You'll Do
- Visit multiple active job sites each day throughout the Seattle area.
- Conduct project kickoffs to ensure crews and customers are set up for success.
- Perform quality control inspections throughout the project.
- Complete final walkthroughs and project closeouts with customers.
- Communicate proactively with homeowners, subcontractors, and the office team.
- Keep project information up to date using Slack, email, and our internal systems.
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact quality or schedule.
- Coordinate with our Project Coordinator to keep projects on schedule.
- Help maintain a positive customer experience from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
The right person is someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and working with people.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is highly organized and manages multiple priorities well.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Is comfortable using smartphones, Slack, email, Google Workspace, and learning new technology.
- Takes ownership and follows through without needing constant direction.
- Remains calm under pressure and adapts well to changing priorities.
- Has excellent attention to detail and notices issues before they become costly.
- Is coachable, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Enjoys spending the majority of the day in the field rather than behind a desk.
Painting or construction experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
