Holistic Doctor's Assistant Job Description

The Right Person Needs to:
- Be genuine, punctual, and act and dress professionally.
- Enjoy working with children and families
- Possess advanced communication skills: written, verbal, and non-verbal.
- Have entry-level leadership skills.
- Work well with others—team members, supervisors, patients, etc.
- Greet every patient with enthusiasm and genuinely connect with each one.
- Schedule appointments for all patients.
- Fold laundry as needed.
- Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the office.
- Handle patient concerns professionally, kindly, and with empathy.
- Have the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude at work and contribute to a quality work environment.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Be able to multitask.
- Stand for 5.5 consecutive hours.
- Lift 5 lbs. and occasionally lift or carry up to 20 lbs.
- Reach hands and arms in any direction, kneel, stoop, or crouch repeatedly.
- Work days and some evenings until 6pm
- Have a pleasant demeanor and a passion for great customer service.
- Bring solutions to improve office efficiency and constantly update and generate ideas.
- Demonstrate calm and maintain composure/compassion even in the presence of stress
- Innovative and adaptive problem-solving, especially with young children and tech equipment
- Ability to "read the room"- discern unspoken messages and grasp social dynamics/environment
- Share information clearly and effectively for a diverse patient base, flexibility and empathy are required for great communication and patient experiences

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Welcoming clients and leading appointment flow.
- Excellence with using tech equipment for testing
- Managing client data entry and intake process.
- Receiving and tracking payments.
- Scheduling, managing, and tracking all client appointments.
- Handling client correspondence, including answering phone calls, messages, and emails.
- Keeping accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly statistics.
- Ordering supplies from multiple vendors and keeping track of office inventory.
- Performing basic cleaning responsibilities.
- Completing and presenting financial care plans.
- Enhancing our marketing calendar by creating flyers, brainstorming projects and events.
- Growing our online presence via social media, website, newsletters, Google, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Canva, Active Campaign, Facebook, Slack, and Instagram.
- Basic phone efficiency and professionalism are a MUST.
- Creating a marketing calendar and optimizing our social media.
- Assisting with marketing efforts.
- Smiling and greeting every person.
- Scheduling and check-in.
- Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls.
- Taking payments.
- Directing patient flow throughout the office
