Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen and Barista member to join our team. No experience needed. As a team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating high-quality beverages and bistro items, and small duties to keep business running efficiently. Our kitchen is clean and simple, no fryers or hoods. We offer healthy bistro items like you would make in your own kitchen. This can be a fast-paced environment - a positive, energetic team member is a must. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience while enjoying their favorite drinks and snacks.
Responsibilities
- Create and serve a variety of beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, energy drinks and specialty teas.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Adhere to food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during busy periods.
Experience
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- A genuine desire to help customers and create memorable experiences through quality service.
- Willingness to train and complete Food Management online courses.
