General care & maintenance of all pets boarded in the kennel. Applicants must be responsible, punctual and dependable. Pets in our salon must be cared for promptly, every day, so little or no absenteeism is extremely important.
Two hours shift position and must be able to work WEEKENDS and all HOLIDAYS
BOARDING SHIFTS NEEDED: Mondays 1-3pm, Wednesdays 1-3pm Thursdays 6-8pm , Friday 8-10am and 1-3pm, Saturday 6-8pm.
6 MONTHS AT LEAST of previous EXPERIENCE in the SAME PROFESSIONAL position IS REQUIRED. You must be able to handle dogs of all sizes without being afraid of them and without allowing them to control you. Knowing the basics about handling dogs and restraining them with TCL. You must be in good physical and healthy condition, able to squat, stoop, bend, lift, and do a lot of walking. Must be willing to maintain the highest standards in cleanliness. Multitasking and customer service experience.
General duties include but are not limited to:
Feeding & Watering of all Pets
Laundry, cleaning crates, kennels, waahing dishes, sweep and mop rooms and all different areas
Bathing and Drying grooming dogs
Administering Medications brought in with Pets
Walking Pets
Monitoring Food/ Water Consumption
Scooping Poop and hosing down outside runs (year round)
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting indoor areas daily
Booking reservations, appointments etc. (pet files paperwork, checking out clients)
Providing pets with TLC and exercise (requires daily walking)
