Join our dynamic team as a Server/Bartender/Host/Expo, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple service areas. This energetic position combines the art of hospitality with the efficiency of food and beverage operations, ensuring guests feel welcomed, cared for, and delighted at every visit. You will be responsible for providing friendly service, managing orders accurately, and maintaining a lively, engaging atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Whether taking orders at the table, mixing cocktails behind the bar, greeting guests as a host or coordinating food delivery as an expo, your enthusiasm and professionalism will shine through in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to optimize seating flow.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with knowledge of drink recipes and presentation standards.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols during food handling, serving, bussing, and kitchen support tasks.
- Assist in food preparation or plating when necessary to ensure timely delivery of dishes from kitchen to table.
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, offering recommendations for upselling beverages or desserts, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order entry and sales processing.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, sanitation, and proper handling techniques.
- Experience with beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink presentation.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on guest relations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude.
