Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments of patients' nutritional needs
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans based on patients' medical conditions and dietary requirements
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to their nutrition plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with tube feeding and other specialized diets is preferred, but not required
