Job Title: Production Welder for Corrugated Hose (TIG Welder)
Location: Baytown, TX
Job Type: Full-Time, Dayshift and 2nd shift (M-F)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Hose Welder specializing in TIG-welding to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding thin gauge stainless steel hoses. This position is dayshift, Monday through Friday, and comes with a full range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on thin gauge stainless steel hoses.
- Work with precision to ensure high-quality welds, maintaining the structural integrity and specifications of the materials.
- Set up welding equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to determine dimensions and welding requirements.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with thin gauge stainless steel materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Familiarity with welding equipment setup and maintenance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding operations.
