Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as AS400 or MRPs to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision using RF scanners and other digital tools
- Manage shipping logistics by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards
- Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to warehouse distribution plans and maintaining optimal inventory levels
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipping while adhering to quality standards and trade compliance guidelines
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments against documentation, and maintaining safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and stock management
- Certification in forklift operation or reach truck handling is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, load & unload equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and order calculations
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in picking & packing processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
