The Bus Stop Bar & Bistro is a family owned new restaurant in downtown Olympia. We are looking for a motivated, reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Our main kitchen is a food trailer that is fixed in placed on our covered patio nicknamed the Greyhound Grill. The building is the historic old Greyhound station in downtown Olympia, and the heated covered patio is large and looks out to Silvester Park.
We are a fun and safe atmosphere with lots of events like live music, live comedy, paint & sips, private large parties, karyoke, open mic, etc as well as conventional restaurant customers, with the kitchen being open 11am to 8:30pm or 9pm depending on the day.
What You’ll Do
- Prep ingredients and assist the Chef with daily service
- Execute menu items quickly and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced food truck environment
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available weekends and mornings
- Some nights required
- Limited part-time hours available at this time
