Join the staff at Mavericks Steak & Cocktails in Watertown SD, located in The Goss Opera House. We are looking to expand our front of house staff. Do you have server, expo, bartender, or host experience? We want you! Our restaurant staff is a close knit group who loves to serve our guests some of the most unique dishes the Downtown Watertown Area has to offer. If you are able to thrive in a fast pace environment, work as a team and and have great customer service, we will train you to our standards. All positions are compensated with hourly wages and tips. Availability to work in our banquet operations as a server/bartender a plus, and you will receive automatic gratuity and portions of our tip pool.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve menu items and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Greet guests with a warm and inviting presence and make them feel comfortable in our establishment
- End of shift cleaning duties as assigned; everyone works as a team
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies throughout shift
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of menu items and current drink offerings
- Computer literacy - MICROS
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
