Home Comfort Practice, Inc. (https://homecomfortpractice.com) is seeking an HVAC sales professional (or mechanic) to lead its small, and growing HVAC department. HCP is a top EnergizeCT home performance contractor, providing energy audits, insulation upgrades, window replacements, and HVAC upgrades. HCP's HVAC department staffs an office administrator and two service/install crews.
Objectives for the HVAC Sales & Department Manager:
- Perform or assign sales consultations and document findings;
- Respond to customer questions and concerns in a timely manner;
- Obtain pricing for equipment and parts from local suppliers;
- Prepare and convey quotes for both utility customers and private customers;
- Ensure that permits are pulled and equipment ordered;
- Confirm delivery of required equipment and parts;
- Brief service/install crews on work scopes in advance of projects;
- Collection payment at job completion;
- Engage utility supervisors about project details, approval of utility incentives, and resolving QA/QC matters;
- Work closely with HVAC office administrator for scheduling of sales consultations, install projects, service appointments; preparing, conveying, and tracking quotes to customers; ordering equipment and parts; and collecting payment from customers, utilities, and loan facilities.
Benefits:
- Base compensation: $72,800.00; Commission rate: 5%-7.5%; Dept. Bonus: 1% (monthly);
