American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility in New Jersey, requiring at least 2.5 years of experience and an active NJ RN license.

Labor & Delivery unit within a Level III high-risk facility
-
May float to the High-Risk OB (HROB) unit as needed, which includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum patients, and those on continuous monitoring
-
Based on unit needs, travelers may be required to float across up to 5 hospital campuses within their skillset
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Block scheduling is not allowed

Epic charting experience preferred
-
Scrubs are provided by the facility
-
Active NJ RN license (or compact license with NJ as primary state) required prior to consideration

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
-
Minimum 2.5 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

COVID-19 vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
-
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Two current professional references required for consideration

Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing; only 2 attempts are permitted
-
The Dysrhythmia test must be completed on a PC — iOS devices are not compatible and will result in a failed attempt
-
Failure to pass the Dysrhythmia test within the allotted time or on the second attempt will result in contract cancellation and a Do Not Return (DNR) status with the hospital system

Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced local pay rate
-
Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after that will not be accepted
