Responsibilities
- Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Follow first aid protocols promptly in case of injuries or emergencies, including administering CPR or using AED equipment when necessary
- Support outdoor work activities such as supervising playground time or outdoor games to promote physical activity
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as childcare, camp programs, babysitting, or youth groups is highly desirable
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
