The Institute of Rural Health office administers several AmeriCorps programs and this position will work with the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program). We are hiring for 1 positions in Pocatello, ID.
Job Summary
Organize and coordinate recruitment and informational campaigns; manage community outreach efforts; and keep in contact with program volunteers and participants.
Minimum Qualifications
- Required Skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with older adult population; basic marketing and outreach skills (in-person and digital); organizational skills to manage multiple outreach efforts; public speaking or presentation experience; and basic computer proficiency. Must be reliable and responsive in communicating with program leadership.
- Preferred Skills: experience in community engagement, outreach, or grassroots organizing; experience with social media marketing platforms.
Additional Information
- Qualifications: education or work experience in fields like communications, public health, social work, marketing, or related area preferred.
- One year of relevant experience in outreach, recruiting, or marketing roles preferred.
- Experience working with older adults is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently when needed and be self-motivated.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
