American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington state.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
-
Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00

Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
-
No on-call requirement
-
Block scheduling is not available
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Current RRT or CRT credential required
-
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
-
Proficiency in mask fitting, Cheyne-Stokes and periodic breathing monitoring, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and O2 saturation monitoring

Experience with Draeger and/or Bellavista equipment preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Active professional license required if applicable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied, and failure to honor the agreed schedule could result in contract termination

Travelers who refuse floating assignments may face termination of their contract
