Powercon LLC is located in Eastman GA and does perform work in the local area, however, the candidate will be required to travel up to 100% of the time to different jobsites throughout the state of Georgia. Overnight stays are few and only required for certain job sites.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical equipment, such as: electrical motors, motor starters, push button stations, circuit breakers, disconnects, etc.
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications: Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Experience in utility work with GA Transmission or GA Power is a plus
- Experience in electronic maintenance
- Experienced wireman
- Knowledge of RCMOS related equipment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Requirements: Valid US Driver's license
- US Citizen is REQUIRED
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to travel
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
- Clean driving record
