Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Baseball Coach to join our team and lead baseball training sessions for our players. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball and coaching, with a focus on developing players' skills and fostering a love for the game.
Duties:
- Plan and conduct engaging baseball training practices/sessions
- Instruct players on proper techniques, strategies, and game rules
- Develop practice plans to enhance players' skills in hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance
- Organize and oversee team practices, games, and tournaments
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among players
- Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
Qualifications:
- Previous experience playing or coaching baseball
- Knowledge of baseball rules and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential
- Experience working with students or athletes in a coaching capacity
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (preferred)
- Background in physical education or related field (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with children in a sports or recreational setting (nice-to-have)
