Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough chimney inspections, cleaning, and repairs to ensure optimal safety and functionality
- Execute masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete forming, and rebar installation with precision
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately follow construction plans and specifications
- Install building materials including mortar work, stucco, plastering, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and caulking
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to carry out demolition, restoration, or new construction projects
- Build masonry scaffolds as needed for elevated work and ensure adherence to all safety protocols on-site
- Assist in renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks like framing, roofing, tile laying, and general building material installation
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on masonry or concrete work
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for construction projects
- Hands-on experience with concrete finishing techniques and concrete masonry work
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively at heights using scaffolding or other elevated platforms
- Experience in restoration or renovation projects involving masonry or structural repairs
- Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant construction tools
