Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a General Maintenance Worker:
- Working knowledge and skill to complete one or more of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, tile, painting, cleaning, masonry, general maintenance.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe job site complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains inventory of construction material to prevent loss or damage.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Updates management or supervisor on the status of the job site, assigned tasks and safety hazards.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy items.
- Has a minimum of basic hand tools to complete the trades for which one is hired.
- Is capable of maintaining the stamina needed for long hours of physical labor.
- Works well with a team and exhibits good moral character.
- Exhibits effective communication skills, essential to following instructions and suggestions to completed assigned tasks.
- Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in completing tasks completely as instructed.
- Must be able to multitask and work efficiently.
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills completing tasks is reasonably assigned time and arrives to work on time.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be familiar with basic safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Workday is a standard 8 hours, and is spent primarily at job sites, weekends and/or overtime may be required.
- The position involves a significant amount of physical labor, requiring long hours of lifting, moving, standing and bending.
- Additional time will be spent meeting with field supervisor that will provide direct assignments.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
