Duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, flexibility, and pain levels.
- Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and functional independence.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities using specialized medical equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and post-treatment care strategies.
- Document treatment progress accurately in medical records and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
- Assist with orthotics interventions in occupational therapy to support mobility and function.
Skills
- Practicing in a physical therapy role with demonstrated experience across inpatient, outpatient, or clinic settings
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and intervention
- Proficiency in medical equipment operation relevant to physical therapy treatments
- Expertise in orthopedics, geriatrics, post-acute care, sub-acute care, hospital medicine, and dance therapy applications
- Experience with hand therapy occupational practice and orthotics interventions in occupational therapy
- Familiarity with outpatient services and clinic workflows to deliver seamless patient care
- Ability to work effectively in diverse environments including inpatient units and outpatient clinics while maintaining compassionate patient interactions
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
