Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our wholesale nursery operations. Our nursery has been expanding and growing, and it is time for a manager to help us with our day to day operations.
Duties
- Supervise and manage 80-acre nursery growing operations and production.
- Oversee irrigation systems and irrigation management to ensure proper watering schedules and system maintenance
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all nursery activities to maintain consistency and quality
- Manage crew members and organize day to day tasks for all team members
- Maintain good plant health and quality of our diverse plant material
- General oversight of production
- Give nursery tours and meet with customers
Skills
- Strong knowledge of horticulture and growing practices
- Managing a team of 10-15 people and preferably bilingual
- General knowledge of machinery and farm equipment
- Experience with irrigation systems and irrigation management techniques
- Proven ability to manage horticultural teams effectively while maintaining high standards of plant health and safety

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
