Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in the production of high-quality products by assisting with stocking and organizing materials in our warehouse. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and should have experience operating forklifts. Experience working in below 0° temperatures a plus.
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability
Ensure Inbound and outbounds loads are handled timely, accurately, and efficiently.
Manage ERP system transactions.
Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes
Put away stock into designated areas within the warehouse
Pick orders accurately, package them correctly, label them appropriately, then prepare for shipment
Operate material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jack safely while ensuring proper safety procedures are always followed
Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse area including sweeping/ dusting shelves/racks etc.
Comfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environments
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
SKILL REQUIRED
Experience with Warehousing, Inventory, and/or Logistics.
Experience working in temperature controlled settings
Experience with perishable items
Proven track record in safe working practices
Previous experience working in food production environments preferred but not required
Ability to stand for long periods of time
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Forklift certification is desired but not mandatory
Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
